Nerve Tonic and Sara Silverman

Man! I am pissed! My network between my laptop and desktop went down again! I've been working on it for three hours! It just won't recognize there is a network there. Bill Gates will you please rot in hell?! This is your fault.

The only thing I can think to do is install windows vista on my laptop and see if they'll work together better. That, and crack open a couple of bottles of nerve tonic. I'm watching Sara Silverman's Jesus is Magic on DVD. I only payed attention to about half of it, so I'll have to watch it again. But now I have that "Fuck you" Sara Silverman attitude.

Oh poor baby - there is only one solution for windows network problems. Buy a Mac
I just wanted to be the first of all the nerdy MacHeads here in podcast world to say this Archerr will tell you all about it. There are problems with Macintosh too, I know, but all the network stuff, esp. wireless connections and bluetooth work very smoothly and without any problems.
I am looking forward to listening to your next podcast. Good luck and best regards

Michael, you are so right. The next computer I buy will be a mac. The only reason I have windows now is because I didn't know you can install windows on a mac too. And I would only do that because there are some programs you just can't get for mac. But when these wear down, I'm getting a MAC!

I will say that Vista is a lot better than XP, and I'm happy to say, now that I have installed vista on my laptop, it is communicating with my desktop again!

I switched back to Mac a few months ago, and have been so glad I did. I have a Windows XP partition on my Mac, using VMware Fusion and it runs faster than it did on my old PC. I have it because two programs I use are windows-only, though one I'll replace this year.

BTW, Apple's Airport Extreme works well on PCs, too, so you could always get that before you get the Mac.
